An updated classic, Crumb is a cute layering piece to help you keep your favorite dresses in rotation all year long. The seamless cropped cardigan has sweet scallops that wrap around the neckline, down the front, and around the fitted waist. The upper back is started first, with scallops at the base of the back neck. When the upper back is long enough, it’s placed on hold, and stitches are picked up from the cast-on edge for the upper right and left fronts. The upper fronts are joined with the upper back when the underarms are cast on, and the cardigan body is knit down from there with waist shaping. Stitches are picked up around the armholes for the set-in sleeves, which are shaped using short rows and knit to ¾-length. Ribbed button- and neck-bands add the finishing touch! For the best fit, choose a size with 1-4 in / 3-10 cm of negative ease through the bust.

Pattern includes both written and charted version of stitch patterns.
