“This is the first pair of gloves I bought in Shetland, at the Old Haa Museum on the Island of Yell. It was 1995, the weather was miserable, my hans were terribly cold, and these gloves were a godsend. I didn’t know it at the time, but it turns out all the patterns and colors are traditional.”
