Crosbhealach
Until the End of June 2019, all proceeds from Crosbhealach will be donated to The Sri Lankan Red Cross to help the victims and families of the devastating Easter Sunday attacks.
When printing pattern, print PDF in booklet form.
This is an intertwining cable knit hat, reminiscent of the crossing of bóithrín around the Irish countryside.
The hat is knit in the round from the bottom up. A cable panel is repeated four or five times around the circumference of the hat and each panel incorporates the crown decreases.
Smaller than usual needles are used to create a close fitting brim which can be worn folded up or down. The hat is finished with a bouncy pompom or can be left without if you prefer the detail of the crown to be on show!
