No gauge is needed for this puppet pattern.

I use one 100g skein of Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK Lemongrass green for the main body, plus a small amount of white and red for eyes/tongue.

Other materials needed;

5mm hook
white felt for teeth
small amount of toy stuffing for eyes.
toy safety eyes 8mm (or embroidery can be used as an alternative).
tapestry needle.
