Crocheted Baseball
This crocheted toy baseball may be made with small amounts of any size 4 knitting worsted and a size H (5.00 mm) crochet hook. Using different sizes of yarns/hooks will result in larger or smaller sized “baseballs.”
What is unique about this pattern is the two-piece construction that follows the shape of baseballs and softballs used in sports. The resemblance develops when the pieces are stitched together and embroidered with a v-shaped “feather” stitch.
The crocheted baseball may be stuffed firmly as for an amigurumi and can be made in a variety of color combinations.
The pattern is on p. 46.
