Crochet Bobble Cowl
Pattern PDF contains instructions in both US crochet terms and UK/European terms.
Worked on 12mm hook and uses Rowan Big Wool to make rows of large bobbles creating a deeply textured crocheted fabric.
The crocheted bobble cowl can be worked in two lengths; as a snug Neck Cowl or as a longer Wrapped Cowl that can be twisted twice around your neck or worn long. The Wrapped Cowl fastens with two buttons which could be left undone to make a Bobble scarf.
The cowls are worked in Rowan Big Wool but an equivalent superchunky, superbulky or ‘big’ yarn can be used instead.
Finished Sizes:
Neck Cowl - 16cm (6 1/4in) deep and 64cm (27in) circumference
Wrapped Cowl - 16cm (6 1/4in) deep and 148cm (58in) long
Gauge (tension): 4 bobbles to 15cm (6in) measured over bobble pattern using 12mm hook.
