Cristallo
Cristallo. My Italian name.
In college I studied in Rome. During my time there, I would dream of moving to a small town in northern Italy and opening a tie shop. It was to be called Cristallo’s Cravatte.
As I was designing Cristallo, my mind continued to wander back to that place in time where I first dreamed of designing, creating my own products, and living a simple life in the Tuscan countryside. And although it may never be reality in this lifetime, that dream continues to live on, because someday………
Yarn:
Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok (100% fine highland wool, 682yd/624m).
MC: Highland Fleece (552yd/505m)
CC1: Midnight Sea (130yd/119m)
Note: You will use most all of the contrast color. If you are afraid you may run out, I would suggest purchasing extra yarn to be safe.
Needles:
US 9 (5.5 mm) straight or circular needles
Finished Dimensions:
35.5”h x 63”w (90cm x 160cm) after blocking
Techniques:
Knit, purl, k2tog, p2tog, m1r, wraps, bobbles
