Crannog Throw
The ring shaped central motif surrounded by the wavy double cross of this classic Aran throw evokes a Crannog - a small artificial island used in Ireland as a dwelling during medieval times. The throw knits up quickly in heavy worsted yarn to create a comfortable, cozy small blanket to cuddle up with a cup of tea and a book.
Try it in DK weight for a warm baby stroller blanket
Pattern is charted only, with large sized expanded charts that can be cut and collated to form a large half-chart.
