Cowichan Cardigan with Pictorial Motifs
Traditional color choices are cream yarn, a second dark color and a heather blend of the two.
Shawl collar and unique 3 needle shoulder bind-off also traditional.
Needle size is not an error; Cowichan sweaters are knit at a tighter gauge using bulky, handspun singles in order to be sturdy and hard-wearing.
