Corded Yoke Pullover
Size Shown: 35.25” bust circumference
Always innovative, Annie Modesitt designed a new kind of seamless yoke for her pullover. After binding off midway through the chest and at the top of the sleeves, she uses long I-cord loops to attach the bodice and sleeve to an I-cord neckband to create a spoke yoke. The sweater, worked in a handpainted yarn, uses a two-by-two rib for a close fit that doesn’t cling.
Finished Size: 30 1/2 (35 1/4, 38 1/2, 41 1/2, 48, 52 3/4)” finished bust circumference
Notions: Stitch holder; smooth, contrasting waste yarn for provisional cast-on; markers (m); tapestry needle; 3 yd of elastic cord (available from bead or craft shops); 6 removable markers or safety pins.
