Ribs flow easily into cables in this sweater designed by Jennifer L. Apppleby.  To provide interest, she added simple details that complement the rib and cable pattern.  A foldover band finishes the wide, scooped neck, and two knitted-in front pockets break up the fluid vertical patterning on the front.  A smooth merino yarn in DK weight shows off the crisp lines of the stitch patterns.
