- This hat is knit in the round from the brim to crown, switching from a 16” circular needle to DPNs when necessary.
- This pattern includes 2 versions and is written for both worsted and chunky yarns. The sizes and stitch pattern are the same.
- For the worsted weight version the needle sizes are US 6 & 8. For the chunky version the needles sizes are US 8 & 10.
- The gauge for the worsted version is 20 sts = 4”. The gauge for the chunky version is 16 sts = 4”.
