Convivencia: a shared life. The Convivencia Cap was inspired by Cat Bordhi’s adventures in Central and South America and the delicious feel of Frog Tree Yarn’s Llambrosia yarn.

You need one ball of each color. The cap in the photo uses #007 (dark cinnamon brown) and #009 (light gray). This de-haired baby alpaca now comes in many colors--you could choose any two for this cap as long as one is darker than the other.

The spines of the mistake ribbing flow into the vertical lines of the Three-and-One Tweed slip stitch pattern. Although two colors are used, only one color is used at a time, making this pattern ideal for beginners and experienced alike.

The stretchiness of the slip-stitch pattern allows this cap to fit a wide variety of heads. If you want to lengthen the cap to make it longer--very easy to do--you will need 1 more ball of the color used in the band.

A portion of the profits from this pattern go to Community Links International, a charity that supports educational and ecological projects in Central and South America.
