Compostela
One of a series of 4 patterns created for the Malabrigo Freelance Pattern Project.
The design for these gloves was inspired by the Cantigas de Santa Maria, a 13th-century collection of songs with miniature illuminations, associated with the pilgrimage shrine of Santiago de Compostela in Northern Spain.
“Compostela” means “Field of Stars”!
Pattern uses 1/2 skein of Black, and small amounts of 5 other colours.
The Camino de Santiago Cowl is a perfect match for these gloves!
Versión Española en breve!
