Colour Me Crazy
If, like me, you cannot bring yourself to throw out those last few yards of leftover sock yarn but then don’t know what to do with it then these socks could be just what you are looking for. Colour them crazy or use the same colour for all the chevrons. It is entirely up to you and what scraps you have.
This pattern is for non-stranded, non-intarsia colour work toe-up socks - the colour work does not affect the stretchiness.
The pattern caters for multiple stitch counts and row gauges of 10, 11 or 12 rows per inch. Chevron pattern is charted with options for the different row gauges and the pattern has full written instructions including a photo tutorial for the colour work technique.
In addition to your main colour you will need 30-50 yards in scrap sock yarn for the chevrons.
This pattern is written for toe-up/magic loop but can be adapted to knitting cuff down by more experienced sock knitters.
