Color Storm
Colorful shawl designed specifically for bright self-striping yarn. Knowledge of German short rows technique is a prerequisite for successful knitting. The rest is very easy!
Materials:
3.5mm circular needles,
Yarn (fingering weight, 400m/100g):
100g of self striping sock yarn (I used Vesper SW merino), and 4 other colors that either present in self striping, or go well with it. I used: 100g of gray, and approx. 35g of each dark purple, magenta and yellow.
Gauge: 28 sts x 22 rows = 10cm (4”)
Finished measurements: 67cm drop. 160 cm wingspan.
