The piece is worked bottom-up on circular needles until reaching the armhole length. For the armholes, some stitches are bound off, dividing the piece into front and back sections. First, we’ll work the back, shaping the armhole curve, and then each front side separately.

The shoulders are seamed together before picking up stitches for the neckline. The V-neck features centered decreases. After completing the V-neck, the armhole finishing is done.

The main challenge of this vest lies in the finishing techniques that transform the piece. My recommendation (though not mandatory) is to use the Tubular Cast-On, Coordinated Armhole Decreases, Slip First and Last Purl Stitches, Grafting Seam, and Italian Bind-Off. All these steps will be demonstrated during the TJ classes and are available on my YouTube Channel as well as here with the pattern’s video tutorials.

A peça é feita de baixo para cima na agulha circular até chegar no comprimento da cava. Para a cava, são feitos alguns arremates de pontos que vão dividir a peça em frente e costas. Primeiro trabalharemos as costas, formando a curva da cava, e depois trabalharemos cada lado da frente separados.

Os ombros são costurados para então puxar os pontos do decote. O decote V possui diminuições centralizadas. Depois de feito o decote V são feitos os acabamentos das cavas.

O principal desafio do colete é fazer acabamentos que mudam a peça. A minha indicação (que não é uma obrigação) é fazer a Montagem Canelada de Pontos, as Diminuições Coordenadas de Cava, Passar o Ponto sem Fazer no Início e Fim das Carreiras do Avesso, fazer uma Costura em Grafting e Arremate Italiano.
