Sizes: Mittens for adult small (medium, large) – approximately 7 (8, 9)” hand circumference. Sample mittens shown in size small. Hat for adult small (medium, large) – approximately 20 (21, 22)” head circumference at ribbing (unstretched), 22 (23, 24)” head circumference in main section. Sample hat shown in size medium.

Materials:
2 (2, 3) skeins Lorna’s Laces Masham Worsted (70% British Wool, 30% Masham Wool; 100g; 170 yds) or similar worsted weight yarn. Shown in 714 St. Charles.

Size US4 (3. 5mm) double point needles (or size required for gauge) for mittens
Size US6 (4mm) 16” circular needles (or size required for gauge) for hat

Tapestry needle

Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch for the mittens and 18 sts and 24 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch for the hat.
