Pattern Description from Interweave Knits, Spring 2007: “Rosy Tucker used bobble-studded cables and a bobble tirm to dress up this simple capelet. Rosy designs and knits in London.”
“Bare your shoulders when you wear the breezy Cocktail Capelet.”
Finished Size: 43¼ (46½, 49¾)“ circumference at lower edge, 33½ (36, 38½)” circumference at upper edge, and 5½“ long.
Yarn: Debbie Bliss Pure Cashmere (100% cashmere; 50 yd 46 m/25 g): #04 duck egg, 6 (7, 8) skeins. Yarn distributed by Knitting Fever.
Needles: Size 8 (5 mm): 24” circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Cable needle (cn); one ½“ button; tapestry needle.
Note: This capelet is made in one piece from the bottom up. All shaping is done in pattern. A bobble edging is worked on all edges.
