Cloud Nine
This is a great stashbuster project! You can use all 17 colors the pattern calls for, or fewer colors if you use the same color multiple times. Work with some of those mini-skeins you’ve been dying to use! The Blue Sky Fibers 21 Color Slouch Hat Kit is a great option to knit this hat as well - that’s what I used in the sample shown here.
Now a 2 color version of this hat is available in the pattern as well. Charts are available for both multi-color and two-color versions!
To make a larger hat, go up a needle size, but remember that will require more yardage for each of the motifs.
Finished Size: 20” / 51 cm circumference
Yarn Requirements: 17 colors of worsted weight yarn; each color needs to be no more than 12 yards; 200 yards total; a bit less if you don’t make a pompom. Or 100 yards each of 2 contrasting colors.
