FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Head Circumference: 16” (18¾”, 21¼”) 40.5 cm (47.5 cm, 54 cm).
Height from Brim to Crown: 10” (10¼”, 10¾”) 25.5 cm (26 cm, 27.5 cm).

YARN
Ístex Léttlopi: 100% Icelandic wool; 109 yds 100 m per 1.75 oz 50 g skein.
Color A: 1403 Lapis Blue Heather; 1 skein for all sizes.
Color B: 1406 Spring Green Heather; 1 skein for all sizes.

NEEDLES
US #8 5.0 mm, or size needed to obtain gauge;
All sizes: 16” 40 cm circular needles.
Optional: double-pointed needles for small-circumference knitting.

US #6 4.0 mm, or two sizes smaller than gauge needles;
All sizes: 16” 40 cm circular needles.

Note: Begin with circular needles to accommodate the cast-on stitches for the brim. Use your preferred method of small-circumference knitting to work the crown.

NOTIONS
1 stitch marker (to indicate end of round).
Blunt tapestry needle.
Blocking pins, if desired.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES
This hat is worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up.

Color A is the main color throughout the pattern; Color B is the contrasting color used only in Chart 1.
3x3 Ribbing is always worked using the smaller needles.
