READ THIS, BEFORE YOU START
The coat is knitted in the round from the bottom and up and then cut up. You knit inside facings at the bottom of the coat, in the center front and inside the sleeves. The coat is divided into 14 repeats of diagram 3 with decreases on each side of each repeat.
The sleeves are knitted in the round on DPN and the last 10 cm are knitted with steek sts and this part is cut up – the sleeves are set-in.
The outside center front border sts are picked up along the front of the coat, after it has been cut up.
The outside lower and center front border and the sleeve borders are knitted with many colour changes, but the coat itself is knitted with 2 colours only.
The coat is a one-size, fitting a person from size 38 to 40.
Yarn required:
Inside facings on body, center border and sleeves:
COLOUR 1: 120 g cobalt blue
Lower outside border, border mid front and border sleeves
COLOUR 2: Consist of 4 colours, 40 g of each colour: light and medium rose (contrast colours), light and medium green (dominating colours). In the pattern referred to as COLOUR 2.
COLOUR 3: 240 g dark blue
