Circular Slope
This hat seems at first like it’s your typical top-down hat, starting with a few stitches, increasing dramatically then staying with a fixed number, finally ending with ribbing. The difference is this hat is knit flat, at first, the increases forcing the seam into a gentle, circular spiral. It’s then knit on a bias for the last several steps and joined in the round to do the ribbing. Finally the whole thing is sewn together to create this unique hat.
