This pattern is a super easy-to-memorize, one-row repeat that just flies off the hook! Worked in bulky yarn, this shell stitch baby blanket is so quick and so satisfying.

While the pattern is shown in pink yarn, I do think the simple single crochet border makes this a neutral enough pattern for baby boys or girls. You might choose to opt for another color, depending. :)

Turning ch never counts as a st.

To adjust the width of this pattern, ch any multiple of 5+3.
