Chunky Deerborn Beanie
This hat is just about the coziest thing you could knit up this winter! The stitch pattern makes a lovely, dense fabric and showcases special yarn beautifully. Striping, ombre, wild dye jobs, and single color yarn will all work wonderfully for this hat. It knits up easily in a night or two, which also makes it perfect for last minute gifts!
Sizes: Toddler (Child, Average Adult, Large Adult) to fit a head circumference of 16” (18”, 21”, 23”)/40 (45, 53, 58) cm. The hat is designed to have a bit of negative ease around the brim. If you would like a slouch beanie, you will need a little more yardage.
Techniques: Knitting in the round, basic increases and decreases.
Notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle, large party balloon, spray bottle, and 3”/7.5 cm pom-pom maker or faux fur pompom (optional).
