Chubby Chick
This adorable no-sew amigurumi chick works up quickly and is perfect for spring, Easter, or just because! Designed with simplicity in mind, this pattern eliminates the need for sewing, making it a fun and beginner-friendly project. With its round, squishy shape and tiny wings made right into the body, this little chick is sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face!
-
I made this amigurumi using the “Yarn Under Single Crochet” technique. This technique makes the stitches tighter and appears more aligned.
-
Use the ultimate finish to close up the amigurumi. Crochet in continuous rounds. Do not join at the end of each round.
-
Use a running stitch marker to keep your place when crocheting in rounds.
-
If you’re unsure how to change color, use my step-by-step guide on changing color in crochet.
-
Optional: I used the invisible increase and invisible decrease for a nicer finish.
-
Use different yarn weights/categories and the appropriate hook size for this project to make it bigger/smaller.
