An original crochet amigurumi chinchilla pattern by June Gilbank.

Yarn: worsted weight yarn in grey or any other chinchilla colour!

Hook: US E / 3.5mm

Size: approx 8″ long (not including tail which is 5” long!)

Details: Pattern includes full instructions to make a close to life-sized realistic crocheted chinchilla. The pattern includes 3 options, depending on whether, and how much, you’d like to brush the chinchilla to make it look fluffier and more realistic.

• Option A: fluffy body and tail.
• Option B: fluffy tail.
• Option C: smooth.

For options A or B, you’ll need a wire pet slicker brush to brush out the pieces after crocheting (instructions are given in pattern).
