3.25 mm/US #3 circular needle (60 cm/24” long), or size needed for gauge.

Gauge
24.5 sts and 33 rows = 10 cm/4” in pattern, measured flat after wet blocking.
One pattern repeat (11 sts x 10 rows) measures approx. 4.5 cm/1.75” wide by 3 cm/1.25” tall.

Differences in gauge will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage.
