Chevron Belle is a dolman style, open-front shrug featuring a chevron lace pattern. Short rows shape the shoulders in an elegant slope. The increase lace portions are charted, only.

Needles

  • RIBBING: US Size 4 (3.5 mm) or 2 sizes smaller than MAIN BODY needle, 24” / 60 cm circular needle
  • MAIN BODY: US Size 6 (4mm) 32” / 80 cm (or longer) circular needle to accommodate the body width or size needed to obtain gauge

  • 1 stitch marker, but you may wish to use more to help guide the repeats of the lace stitch

Gauge
20 sts, 27 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch and in Pointed Chevron on MAIN BODY needle after blocking.
22 sts, 30 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in 1x1 Rib on RIBBING needle, moderately stretched.
Adjust needle size if necessary, to obtain the correct gauge.
