Checkham Skirt
This reversible pencil skirt is knit with a check side and a gingham side, allowing for versatile creativity to make it your own. You can knit it longer or shorter if you desire. There is an elastic waistband added for a better fit. Because all the floats are hidden on the inside, you do not need to weave in any ends, making it a perfect stash-buster for leftover yarn from other projects.
The skirt was designed to be knit using sport weight yarn, or thin fingering held together, or lace weight held with fingering yarn.
I used Camellia Fiber Co Camellia 77% baby alpaca, 23% silk 438 yards held double.
