Chameleon
Chameleon is the 9th design in the book Cowling Around, which is available as an ebook here or as a book (including ebook download) from my Etsy shop.
The design uses 4 different stitch patterns and includes ideas on how to vary these to design your own unique cowl.
The base pattern is for a cowl approx. 16cm deep and 60cm around, but size can be varied easily.
The base pattern uses 5 colours of yarn, using between 50m and 100m of each colour.
2 variations are shown one using Sublime Sophia, a silky variegated dk yarn, and made simply which can be wrapped twice round the neck - the other using a warm dk wool and made as a warm wide shoulder cowl.
All patterns in the book are written in UK crochet terms and are charted.
