- Silkon heavyweight #3 bonded nylon cord: 7–10 yds
- Sizes 8/1.50mm and 12/1.00mm steel crochet hooks or size needed to obtain gauge
- Japanese seed beads:
- Size 11/0 silver-lined clear: 3 grams
- Size 8/0: pearl white 8 grams (white Ceylon may be substituted); clear: 9 grams; silver-lined round hole, light gold: 3 grams
- Size 6/0: inside color, white: 10 grams frosted (transparent white AB may be substituted); transparent matte, clear: 5 grams; silver-lined round hole, gold: 3.5 grams
- Large-eye beading needle
- Pearl white button with shank
- Safety pin
Gauge
Size 12 hook: 11 ch sts = 1 inch
