Cerrito Cardigan
-Finished Size 18 (19 1/2, 20 3/4, 22 1/4, 23 1/2, 25)“ back width at underarm. Cardigan shown measures 18”.
-Yarn Blue Sky Alpacas Metalico (50% baby alpaca, 50% mulberry silk; 147 yd 134 m/1 3/4 oz 50 g): #1613 gold dust, 8 (9, 10, 11, 11, 12) skeins.
-Needles Size 4 (3.5 mm): 24” to 32” circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
-Notions Markers (m); cable needle (cn); stitch holders; spare needle in same size or smaller for three-needle BO; tapestry needle.
-Gauge 29 sts and 32 rows = 4” in k3, p2 rib.
The one-piece Cerrito Cardigan features 3×2 ribbing and front panels of twig stitch that create a raised chevron look.
