The slipover is knitted from the top down.

It is worked back and forth across the shoulder section, with increases on every row, on both sides of the shoulders. A yarn over is made on every row and the dropped on the following row, to make the height ofthe shoulder stitches match the gauge of the shoulder width.

Once the full shoulder width has been reached, the work is divided, and the back and front are knitted separately down to the join under the armhole. From there, the body is worked in the round.

The body is finished with a rib edge and are finished with an Italian bind off.

Stitches are then picked up along the armhole edges and neckline, which are also worked in rib.

All rib edges are finished with an Italian bind-off.
