Celestine Socks
These interesting socks from Caroline Birkett feature a herringbone rib pattern, which is worked mostly in one colour with contrasting bands of two-colour patterning. The ribbed cuffs, toes and eye of partridge heel flaps are knitted in the contrast colour. The herringbone rib used in this design makes a very stretchy fabric, helping to create a sock which will fit a wide range of feet. Caroline has used two modern shades from Coopknits’ Socks Yeah! 4ply range.
