Cavanaugh
Hats are the perfect size for experimenting with new-to-you techniques. Never cabled before? Try it out on a hat. Unfamiliar with reading charts, but want to learn? Start with a hat pattern first. Hats are small-ish, useful, and fairly quick to knit. This hat features one large cable panel, and is great for practicing cables, or for learning to cable without a cable needle, or getting more familiar with reading charts.
Sizing:
Finished Hat Circumference 18.5 (20.5, 22.5)”
2” negative ease recommended.
Shown in size 20.5”
Yarn:
Malabrigo Rios, 1 skein for all sizes. Shown in Water Green.
Suggested Needles:
US 7 (4.5 mm) 16” circular
US 8 (5 mm) 16” circular and DPNs
