The Catal Top allows you to show off a subtly lowered neckline, without being too revealing. On a summer day, you can wear it with shorts or a skirt, or pair it with jeans in mid-season.

This is a revised version of the original pattern, including more sizes and a neater way to decrease. It is worked in-the-round, completely seamless and from the bottom up, until the armholes. Front and back are then separated, and worked flat until the shoulders.

How to choose your size: Measure your bust circumference with a tape measure. Add the desired amount of ease to your actual bust measurement (you can use the recommended ease range as a guide). Find the closest measurement to the finished garment.

Gauge: 19 stitches x 30 rounds = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 “ in stockinette stitch worked in the round and flat, using the main needles, after blocking.

Suggested needle size: 4 mm/US 6 main circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge. 3.5 mm/US 4 circular needles, or two sizes smaller than the main needle. Cable lengths may vary as needed.
