A cuddly cartoon cat to wrap around your neck – plenty long enough for an adult as well as a child, but can easily be made longer if you wish. Head has a loop for the tail so your cat can curl up.

Here is a black and white cat – choose your own colours

Knit flat in garter stitch (no purling), simple stitches and quick to make.

Uses any DK/8 ply yarn that has about 135m/150yds to 50gms.

• main colour x 60gms, 160m/180yds (black in 
sample) 

• contrast colour x 25gms, 70m/75yds for face, 
paws, tail and ears (white used in the sample) 

• pink x 3m/yds for nose 

• small amount yarn for embroidering mouth 

• optional a pair of 24mm sew-on “joggle” eyes 
(not for children aged 3 years or less ), OR, if not using sew-on eyes: green, blue or 
golden brown x 5m/5.5yds
