You will need 21, 24, 27 ounces of 4-ply acrylic yarn. Also required are numbers 7, 8, 9 standard knitting needles and numbers 7, 8, 9 circular needles, cable hook and six 7/8 inch buttons.

Different size needles are used for the different sizes.

Gauge with 7: 13 sts and 15 rows equal 2 inches
Gauge with 8: 15 sts and 29 rows equal 4 inches
Gauge with 9: 6 sts and 7 rows equal 1 inch
