When faced with a knitting deadline and a discerning recipient, reach for something unique, like this asymmetric-in-a-different-way shawlette.

This pattern has directions for working the shawl in either fingering weight yarn OR aran/bulky weight yarn. Both result in a shawl roughly the same size, and notes for adjusting size are provided.

Fingering weight version:
Approximately 720 yards fingering weight yarn, split between three colors as follows. Color A: 415 yards. Color B: 165 yards. Color C: 140 yards.

Aran/bulky weight version:
Approximately 335 yards aran or bulky weight yarn, split between three colors as follows. Color A: 185 yards. Color B: 85 yards. Color C: 60 yards.

Finished measurements
One size fits most, with notes for adjusting. Triangle dimensions: 60” x 30” x 45”. Measured after blocking.
