Carol's Shawl
by Carol New
The designer, Carol New, will donate all pattern sales dollars to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The pictured crescent shaped shawl is done in a two row repeat of garter stitch using one 420 yard skein of fingering weight - solid colorway of Queensland Llama Lace - and one 328 yard skein of Queensland Rainbow Beach; a slight gradient sport weight yarn. It is best to choose a ‘pop’ color of the Llama Lace.
One color is used for each two row repeat; carrying the second color up the edge.
Gauge is not important for this project.
