Caribbean Sunset Shawl
The Caribbean Sunset Shawl is inspired by the glorious Barbados sunset on our wedding day. The colours were unlike anything we had seen before – the memory of that beautiful sunset will never fade.
This asymmetrical triangle shawl is crocheted with one ball of Sirdar Jewelspun Aran in the aptly named colourway: Setting Sun. The shawl is crocheted from the narrowest point with increases worked on one side of the shawl. The pattern uses double crochet, treble crochet and alternate rows worked in the back loop only, creating a cosy textured shawl. The colour changes in the variegated yarn make every Caribbean Sunset Shawl completely unique.
Length = 65 inches/162cm
Drop = 25 inches/63cm
This shawl can be made as large or small as you wish, by adjusting the number of rows. As well as Aran yarn it also works well in DK or sock yarn.
