CareAway Shawl
If you purchase 5 patterns from my Ravelry Store at the same time (place them all in your cart before checking out), you will automatically receive the least expensive for free!
Can not be combined with any other offer.
“Care-away Shawl” is knit from the tip to the widest part with increases at the edges and can be worked in any size until the yarn is used up.
The stitch pattern with lots of twisted stitches and interesting large holes is of my own invention.
Materials:
* Dye Dye Done Yakalicious DK (60% Merino, 20% Yak, 20% Silk): 100g/ 231 yards 211 meters: 4 skeins or approx. 830 yards 760 meters.
Sample is knit in colorway “Curcuma”.
- US 6 – 4 mm 32” 80 cm circular needles
- tapestry needle
Finished measurements:
68” 173 cm wingspan and 33” 84 cm deep
Gauge:
Texture Pattern repeat (40 sts x 40 rows) = 3.25” 8 cm x 4.5” 11 cm washed and blocked.
Gauge is not essential; however, with a different gauge, actual finished measurements and total yardage will change.
The pattern contains both written and charted instructions. You can work from either one.
