Caramel Slice
“The slip stitch pattern used for this design adds visual and textural interest, whilst working with just one colour at a time,” explains designer Kath Andrews.
The cardigan is worked flat with the body worked in one piece. Once the sleeves and body are finished, the striped garter stitch cuffs are added to the sleeves, which are then seamed and joined to the body. The button band is added last and includes detailed shaping to create mitred corners at the front and to allow it to lie comfortably around the neck.
