Calder the King Eider Duck
Join Kerry Lord and the @toft_uk community for a highly anticipated Spring ‘crochetalong’ once more, and this year we will each be crocheting a beautiful King Eider Duck, starting on Monday 5th May with daily Instagram videos. This crochet duck combines eight unusual colours of TOFT yarn to produce a very unique looking duck that’s true to the shades of the real bird!
This fun and informal crochet along (CAL) is a great way to challenge your crochet hook as we learn new techniques together and enjoy seeing everyone’s creations come to life on the hashtag #edsCALder. The CAL will run from the 5th to the 16th May, so get your wool and 3mm crochet hook ready to begin and make sure you’re following @toft_uk on Instagram.
TOFT’s Edward’s Menagerie collection is a series of crochet amigurumi toys designed by Kerry Lord. This crochet bird kit contains TOFT’s quality pure wool yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern. There are video links for all the crochet stitches and techniques used in the pattern to get you started and help you complete your toy. Share your progress with the TOFT community on Instagram @toft_uk using the #edsanimals hashtag.
