Cake & Caffeine [KNIT]
There’s a long history with Sontag shawls. These shawls were functional, easy to wear and secures well when wrapped and tied at the waist. Traditionally, Sontags are narrow triangle shawls. CAKE & CAFFEINE features a similar generous wingspan, but in a crescent shape. The pattern comes in two sizes: a small shawlette/shoulder wrap and a large wrap that can fully cover the torso.
Pattern available Saturday, May 18th.
Cake & Caffeiene is worked in three sections. The knit version starts with a garter fabric, worked in one colour, transitions into a wavy slip stitch colourwork sequence, end finishes with rows of garter stitch and an I-cord bind-off.
For those interested in making a KNIT/CROCHET version, this is written as a separate pattern. Please see pattern details for this version for more information.
