Cabled Cap
Inspired by a swatch for an introductory
cable class, this cap is a nice introduction
to cables and bobbles. The lower portion
of the cap is knit in a strip and joined to
resemble a headband, then stitches are
picked up around and decreased for the
crown. An i-cord accent finishes up the
bottom edge.
Skill level: Intermediate.
Size: 22”.
Gauge: In stockinette knit flat: 20 sts x 24
rows = 4”/10 cm on US Size 7 (4.50 mm).
Yarn: Worsted weight wool, 180 yards (10
wpi). Models used Ella Rae Classic wool.
