Materials and sizes:
Size | Worsted weight yarn, wool or acrylic.
- Child Small, 2-4 years, 200 yds
- Child Medium, 6-8 years, 200 yds
- Child Large, 10-12 years, 200 yds
- Ladies Small, 300 yds
- Ladies Medium, Men’s Small, 400 yds
- Ladies Large, Men’s Medium, 400 yds
- Men’s Large, 400 yds
Other Materials
5 double-point needles, size #3
Tapestry needle
Gauge: 5½ sts = 1”
Skill level: Intermediate
The boot socks are great fun to wear. The cable is a nice addition, but it is not essential
At the end of the pattern book are two extra patterns, a “Plaited Cable Headband” and “Plaited Cable Boot Toppers.” Other variations of the pattern are explained: (1) Over the Boot Socks, (2) Boot toppers, and (3) Leg Warmers.
