Superbulky yarn:
630 yards / 576 meters

126 yards / 115 m of 5 colors

We used a mixture of Cape May Fiber Co Super Bulky Sparkle (95% SW Merino, 5% Silver Stellina, 126 yards / 225 Gram)
In colors selected to produce a fade, used in equal amounts:
COLOR A: Snowy Dune (tan with blue speckles)
COLOR B: Queen Selina (cream and pistachio)
COLOR C: Abalone (lavender with purple speckles)
COLOR D: Empress (soft blue with golden speckles)
COLOR E: Murky (dark grey with moss speckles)

Needle
US Size 19 (15 mm): 32” / 81.5 cm circular knitting needle (a circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches)

Notions

  • Cable needle
  • 2 stitch markers (optional)

Gauge
8.25 sts, 9.5 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Cable Pattern after blocking.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
