Cable Divide
Long twisting cables flow up the center of this simple shell dividing in each direction to create a soft v-neck. A split hem and delicate side seam stitch are added to give this tank an easy fit.

Designed to be worn with approximately 2-4” / 5-10 cm positive ease. Sample is a size 4 modeled with 2.5” / 6.5 cm positive ease.
Yarn: Ewe Ewe Yarns, Fluffy Fingering, 200 yards per 50g skein, 100% merino wool superwash yarn, #1 fingering weight
• 5 (5, 5, 5, 6, 6)6, 7, 7, 8, 8 skeins (90 Vanilla)
Needles:
Ribbing needles: US 5 / 3.75 mm 32-40” / 80-100 cm circular needle for Hem (or length preferred for comfort)
Body needles: US 6 / 4 mm 32-40” / 80-100 cm circular needle for Body (or length preferred for comfort) AND 2 additional gauge-size DPNs for shoulder seaming
Supplies: Stitch markers (6, one distinct for BORM), row counter, cable needle, tapestry needle, smooth waste yarn or spare needle for placing stitches on hold
Gauge: 23 sts and 34 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette st in the round on Body size needle after blocking
This sleeveless top is worked from the bottom-up, staring with a split ribbed hem. The body is joined in the round after the two hems are worked and the body is worked in the round to the underarms.
The front and back of the top are worked separately once the armhole is reached.
